This animation explains Nautilus’ unique method for identifying and quantifying individual proteins on a chip using fluorescence. Up to 10 million distinct proteins are tethered to a DNA substrate. Multiple passes using specific reagent probes bind to specific proteins, and the fluorescent tag is recorded using a high-density camera. Individual images, when processed, identify the labeled proteins on the chip.
